Jorge Louis Borges
Jorge Francisco Isidoro Luis Borges Acevedo was born in Buenos Aires on 24 August 1899 and died in Geneva on 14 June 1986. Considered the greatest Argentinian writer of all times, he's renowned for his fantastic tales and for his poems, and was a great lover of languages and language. Both his stories and his imaginary biographies depict a somewhat forged, counterfeited reality. His most famous works include The Aleph, Fictions, The book of sand and the poetry collection In praise of darkness.
