Ian McEwan
Ian Russell McEwan was born in Aldershot, United Kingdom, on 21 June 1948. McEwan is considered one of the major contemporary British authors, and his prose is characterised by dark humour and grotesque tones. His most popular novels include The comfort of strangers, The child in time and Atonement. Moreover, McEwan wrote a contribution entitled “Pay attention” for the book A future-oriented history, edited by the Pirelli Foundation and published by Marsilio in 2022.
