The Pirelli Foundation all dressed in white to tell a winter’s tale: the winter of 2015.
The search for quality and innovation with a view to internationalisation has always been a constant – from the pre-war Artiglio tyre to the modern Winter models.
Painters, designers and photographers give a face to this research, from the skaters portrayed by Scopinich at the Ice Stadium in Cortina to Bob Noorda’s stylised snowflakes and Manzi’s amusing characters struggling against the snow and rain. And then graphic designs, technical drawings, tables and calculations: everything that, over the years, has led the development of winter tyres, all the way through to today’s Sottozero.
